When you play the guitar you are using your fingers and if you've never used your fingers it'll be difficult at first. However, after using your fingers for a good amount of time it'll become easier and easier and before you know it you'll be able to play without even looking.
The first difficulty when you teach yourself how to play is that it'll take some time to actually play some good sounding sounds. Don't expect to play beautiful music if you've never played before. It'll take practice in order to get that right sound.
Once you get that sound, however, it'll lead to greater fulfillment and most likely inspire you to learn even more.
